Energize, Rebalance and Strengthen your Body and Mind with Tai Chi

I teach a short form of Yang style Tai Chi that consists of 24 movements.

This form was developed in China by a Tai Chi master, Li Tian Ji, in the 1950’s, who created it so that people could learn and benefit from it relatively quickly.

I learned this form from Dr. Jiliang Liu of Great Neck, NY who I continue to study with.

If you enjoy learning something deeply and in detail, you will enjoy my teaching style which involves focused instruction, body awareness, body mechanics and structural positioning.

Group Class Info

  1. Location: In the park across from the Ridgefield library

  2. Dates + Times: Classes are weekly on Monday mornings, starting Spring, 2024. Each class is 1 hour.

  3. Cost: First class is free, then $20/group classes.

  4. Commitment: It will take about half a year to learn the entire form. After that, we will continue to refine and hone the movements on an ongoing basis.

  5. Registration and Payment: Call or email to register/inquire. Payments are possible by zelle or cash at the beginning of the class.

Private Class Info

  1. Location: In-office or outdoors in a park.

  2. Dates + Times: Call or email for availability.

  3. Cost: $120/private (1 hour)

  4. Commitment: Weekly classes are optimal, along with daily practice of at least 20 minutes per day.

  5. Registration and Payment: Payments are acceptable by zelle or cash. My cancellation policy for private sessions is with 24 hours notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are charged in full, unless due to emergency.
